Beautiful Victorian Oak Sideboard w/Curio Top

Image
Bought this at an estate sale in Baltimore early 1990's. I refinished the surface. It has hand made dovetail joints. Marking on back 788 Frem. Has all original glass, hardware & keys. All glass and mirrors are leaded and beveled. What can you tell me if anything about it. This is a wonderful c1880's Oak Sideboard with a Curio Top. It has very nice hand carved decorations including lion heads on the bottom doors. It appears that it may have a mixture of quarter-sawn and plain-sawn oak in it's make-up. Victorian Oak furniture has taken a heavy hit in recent years and is not very popular at the moment. Checking auction records and what dealers are asking for similar pieces, it is my opinion that this piece is valued around $1,500-2,000 on today's open market.
